2024 Spring Seeds to Starts Part 2 and Compost Workshops
Green Corn Project is an Austin non-profit that educates Central Texans on organic vegetable gardening.
Join us for our Seeds to Starts Workshop! This is a series of 3 independent workshops where we’ll start many of the transplants we’ll use in our spring gardens while teaching you how to start seeds at home. In part 1 we’ll start seeds in flats and trays. In part 2 we’ll bump the starts to individual 4 inch pots as well as start additional seeds in flats and trays. In part 3 we’ll bump the starts from part 2 to individual 4 inch pots. You can register for any of the workshops separately.
We also will be having our Compost Workshop in conjunction with the STS Part 1. In this workshop we will discuss what goes into a composting pile, how to maintain it, and common dos and don’ts when making your own compost.
No gardening experience is necessary, just dress appropriately for the weather and bring water to drink.
